I have a somewhat darker vision of Faery than most. It is akin to that of Brian Froud and Alan Lee in their book "Faeries". My partner refers to it as "fairies with teeth". In my vision, the Realm of Fairy includes treachery and seduction as well as butterfly wings and toadstools. But then, mushrooms can kill as well as enlighten.
